Next, select the preferred frequency. Before you do anything else, double-check that you’re logged in using the same Apple ID which was used while making the backup. If not already installed, install WhatsApp on your iPhone and launch it. Make sure to use the same phone number to sign in to WhatsApp. Upon signing in, you’ll be asked to restore the backup from iCloud. Hit “Restore Chat History” and then let the process be completed successfully. Note: Your photos and other media will restore in the background once the messages have been restored.
